Charitable Giving as apart of an overall tax strategy

Many have a strong desire to give back to their community. And for those who are retired or are empty-nesters, there is finally the time to make a commitment to charity work — both in terms of time and money. Here on Tahoe’s North Shore, charity indeed begins at home, and perhaps with the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation.

The Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation

Parasol is the Tahoe region's philanthropic center, a community leader on regional issues and a catalyst for effective non-profit collaboration. As the area's oldest and largest community foundation, it is dedicated to building prosperity through leadership, partnership and philanthropy. With a number of 501(c)3 nonprofits all here, conveniently under one roof, Parasol is an ideal way to connect to the community.
